We, Shortcut IT Gmbh (hereinafter also referred to as Shortcut IT), take the protection of your personal data very seriously and adhere strictly to the rules of the data protection laws. Personal data is only collected on this website to the extent that is technically necessary. Under no circumstances will the collected data be sold or passed on to third parties for other reasons. The following declaration gives you an overview of how we guarantee this protection and what kind of data is collected for what purpose.

Information you give us
For example, you provide information when you search for a product, place an order via www.shortcut-it.com or by sending us a message by post or e-mail, when you communicate with us by e-mail or in any other way, when you take advantage of service offers where you are personally informed about certain offers, e.g. newsletters.

We only collect the data that is necessary for the conclusion of the contract or the requested service. However, the specification of e.g. telephone, fax and mobile phone numbers is voluntary. There are no negative consequences associated with the non-supply of this data.

Data processing for contract performance
We process the data collected in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. b DSGVO for the purpose of fulfilling the contract. This also includes the associated customer service. If necessary, personal data will be passed on to the companies involved in processing this contract, e.g. e-commerce providers for payment processing.

Data processing on direct mail
We process your data for the purpose of direct advertising, in particular for sending our advertising by e-mail. The data processing is carried out on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO and in the interest of informing you about new products and services. Each customer has the right to object to this processing, the exercise of which will result in the termination of processing for the purpose of direct advertising. If data are stored exclusively for the purpose of direct advertising, they will be deleted after the objection has been made.

Analyses
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service of Google Inc. ("Google"). Google Analytics uses "cookies", which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyze how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website (including your IP address) is transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. However, in the event that IP anonymisation is activated on this website, your IP address will be shortened by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area beforehand. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transferred to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. For order processing, we need your address data, your date of birth, e-mail address, telephone if applicable, the total purchase price, the
Order date as well as information on the payment process.

To protect the security of your information during transmission, we use Secure Sockets Layer Software (SSL) where necessary. This software encrypts the information you transmit.
Of course, this also applies to payments by credit card. The credit card information is only stored temporarily for forwarding to the corresponding payment provider and is deleted after completion of the transmission.
It is important for you to protect against unauthorized access to your password and your computer. If you share your computer with others, you should make sure to log out after each session.

You can have your data deleted at any time. We only use your data to process your order, which means that only the information and data that is absolutely necessary to clarify any refund claims will be stored and processed.

Software Installation and Activation
The activation of the functions in the programs of Shortcut IT, e.g. within the scope of a purchase transaction or for the extension of a test period, is carried out via files with licensing data, which allow the programs to be used for a limited period of time. You will receive these file(s) by email from Shortcut IT GmbH after completion of the purchase process or after agreement of a test period. The specification of the email address is requested or collected in the course of the purchase process or the agreement of a test period.

Miscellaneous
Protection of Shortcut IT GmbH and third parties: We disclose customer accounts and personal data about customers if we are legally obliged to do so or if such disclosure is necessary to enforce our general terms and conditions or other agreements or to protect our rights as well as the rights of our customers and those of third parties. This includes exchanging information with companies that specialize in preventing and minimizing abuse and credit card fraud. It is explicitly stated that in this context, no data will be passed on to these companies for commercial use that is in contradiction to this privacy policy.
With your consent: In all other cases, we will inform you if personal information is to be passed on to third parties and thus give you the opportunity to give your consent.

Reference to a right of objection under Art. 21 DSGVO
If data are collected on the basis of Article 6 paragraph 1 letter e (data processing for the performance of official tasks or for the protection of the public interest) or letter f (data processing to safeguard legitimate interests), you have the right to object to the processing at any time for reasons arising from your particular situation. We will then no longer process the personal data unless there are demonstrably compelling reasons for processing which are worthy of protection and which outweigh the interests, rights and freedoms of the data subject, or the processing serves to assert, exercise or defend legal claims.
