We, Shortcut IT GmbH (hereinafter also referred to as Shortcut IT), take the protection of your personal data very seriously and adhere strictly to the rules of the data protection laws. Personal data is only collected on this website to the extent that is technically necessary. Under no circumstances will the collected data be sold or passed on to third parties for other reasons. The following declaration gives you an overview of how we guarantee this protection and what kind of data is collected for what purpose.

Information you give us
For example, you provide information when you search for a product, place an order via www.shortcut-it.com or by sending us a message by post or e-mail, when you communicate with us by e-mail or in any other way, when you take advantage of service offers where you are personally informed about certain offers, e.g. newsletters.
Other data is collected automatically or after your consent when you visit the website. This is mainly technical data (e.g. internet browser, operating system or time of page view) for analysis purposes of our visitors (see section Analyses). The collection of this data takes place automatically as soon as you enter this website.

We only collect the data that is necessary for the conclusion of the contract or the requested service. However, the specification of e.g. telephone, fax and mobile phone numbers is voluntary. There are no negative consequences associated with the non-supply of this data.

Hosting
We host the content of our website with the following provider:
IONOS
The provider is IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Str. 57, 56410 Montabaur (hereinafter referred to as IONOS).
When you visit our website, IONOS collects various log files including your IP addresses. For details, please refer to the privacy policy of IONOS: https://www.ionos.de/terms-gtc/terms-privacy. The use of IONOS is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO. We have a legitimate interest in ensuring that our website is presented as reliably as possible. Insofar as a corresponding consent has been requested, the processing is carried out exclusively on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO and § 25 para. 1 TTDSG, insofar as the consent includes the storage of cookies or access to information in the user's terminal device (e.g. device fingerprinting) as defined by the TTDSG. The consent can be revoked at any time.

Order processing
We have concluded an order processing agreement (AVV) for the use of the above-mentioned service. This is a contract required by data protection law, which ensures that this processes the personal data of our website visitors only according to our instructions and in compliance with the DSGVO.

SSL or TLS encryption
For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as orders or requests that you send to us as the site operator, this site uses SSL or TLS encryption. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the fact that the address line of the browser changes from "http://" to "https://" and by the lock symbol in your browser line.If SSL or TLS encryption is activated, the data that you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.

Data processing for contract performance
We process the data collected in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. b DSGVO for the purpose of fulfilling the contract. This also includes the associated customer service. If necessary, personal data will be passed on to the companies involved in processing this contract, e.g. e-commerce providers for payment processing.

Data processing on direct mail
We process your data for the purpose of direct advertising, in particular for sending our advertising by e-mail. The data processing is carried out on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO and in the interest of informing you about new products and services. Each customer has the right to object to this processing, the exercise of which will result in the termination of processing for the purpose of direct advertising. If data are stored exclusively for the purpose of direct advertising, they will be deleted after the objection has been made.

Storage period
Unless a more specific storage period has been stated within this privacy policy, your personal data will remain with us until the purpose for processing the data no longer applies. If you assert a legitimate request for deletion or revoke your consent to data processing, your data will be deleted unless we have other legally permissible reasons for storing your personal data (e.g. retention periods under tax or commercial law); in the latter case, the data will be deleted once these reasons no longer apply.

Contact form
If you send us inquiries via the contact form, your data from the inquiry form including the contact data you provided there will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the inquiry and in case of follow-up questions.We do not pass on this data without your consent.
The processing of this data is based on Art. 6 (1) lit. b DSGVO, if your request is related to the performance of a contract or is necessary for the implementation of pre-contractual measures. In all other cases, the processing is based on our legitimate interest in the effective processing of the requests addressed to us (Art. 6 (1) (f) DSGVO) or on your consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) DSGVO) if this has been requested; the consent can be revoked at any time.
The data you entered in the contact form will remain with us until you request us to delete it, revoke your consent to store it, or the purpose for storing the data no longer applies (e.g. after processing your request has been completed). Mandatory legal provisions - in particular retention periods - remain unaffected.

Inquiry by e-mail, telephone or fax
If you contact us by e-mail, telephone or fax, your inquiry including all resulting personal data (name, inquiry) will be stored and processed by us for the purpose of processing your request. We do not pass on this data without your consent.

Comment function on this website
Some pages of our website contain a comment function. For the comment function, in addition to your comment, information on the time of creation of the comment and your e-mail address are stored.
Storage period of comments
The comments and the associated data are stored and remain on this website until the commented content has been completely deleted or the comments have to be deleted for legal reasons (e.g. offensive comments).
Legal basis
The storage of the comments is based on your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO). You can revoke any consent you have given at any time. For this purpose, an informal communication by e-mail to us is sufficient. The legality of the data processing operations already carried out remains unaffected by the revocation.

Analyses
We use Matomo (Matomo On-Premise). Matomo is a product for user analysis of websites. Unlike Google Analytics, Matomo can be operated without privacy issues and without consent.
Matomo tracks following information:
  • User IP address (anonymized)
  • Date and time of the request
  • Title of the page being viewed (Page Title)
  • URL of the page being viewed (Page URL)
  • URL of the page that was viewed prior to the current page (Referrer URL)
  • Screen resolution being used
  • Time in local user’s timezone
  • Files that were clicked and downloaded (Download)
  • Links to an outside domain that were clicked (Outlink)
  • Pages generation time (the time it takes for webpages to be generated by the webserver and then downloaded by the user: Page speed)
  • Location of the user: country, region, city, approximate latitude and longitude (Geolocation)
  • Main Language of the browser being used (Accept-Language header)
  • User Agent of the browser being used (User-Agent header)
  • From the User-Agent, Matomo uses their own Universal Device Detection library to detect the browser, operating system, device used (desktop, tablet, mobile, tv, cars, console, etc.), brand and model.

We only use cookies that are necessary for the functionality of the website.

eCommerce
For order processing, we need your address data, e-mail address, telephone if applicable, the total purchase price, the order date as well as information on the payment process.

To protect the security of your information during transmission, we use Secure Sockets Layer Software (SSL) where necessary. This software encrypts the information you transmit.
Of course, this also applies to payments by credit card. The credit card information is only stored temporarily for forwarding to the corresponding payment provider and is deleted after completion of the transmission.
It is important for you to protect against unauthorized access to your password and your computer. If you share your computer with others, you should make sure to log out after each session.

You can have your data deleted at any time. We only use your data to process your order, which means that only the information and data that is absolutely necessary to clarify any refund claims will be stored and processed.

Software Installation and Activation
The activation of the functions in the programs of Shortcut IT, e.g. within the scope of a purchase transaction or for the extension of a test period, is carried out via files with licensing data, which allow the programs to be used for a limited period of time. You will receive these file(s) by email from Shortcut IT GmbH after completion of the purchase process or after agreement of a test period. The specification of the email address is requested or collected in the course of the purchase process or the agreement of a test period.

Miscellaneous
Protection of Shortcut IT GmbH and third parties: We disclose customer accounts and personal data about customers if we are legally obliged to do so or if such disclosure is necessary to enforce our general terms and conditions or other agreements or to protect our rights as well as the rights of our customers and those of third parties. This includes exchanging information with companies that specialize in preventing and minimizing abuse and credit card fraud. It is explicitly stated that in this context, no data will be passed on to these companies for commercial use that is in contradiction to this privacy policy.
With your consent: In all other cases, we will inform you if personal information is to be passed on to third parties and thus give you the opportunity to give your consent.

Reference to a right of objection under Art. 21 DSGVO
If data are collected on the basis of Article 6 paragraph 1 letter e (data processing for the performance of official tasks or for the protection of the public interest) or letter f (data processing to safeguard legitimate interests), you have the right to object to the processing at any time for reasons arising from your particular situation. We will then no longer process the personal data unless there are demonstrably compelling reasons for processing which are worthy of protection and which outweigh the interests, rights and freedoms of the data subject, or the processing serves to assert, exercise or defend legal claims. Right of appeal to a supervisory authority
Every data subject has the right to complain to a supervisory authority if he or she considers that the processing of data relating to him or her is in breach of data protection legislation.
